It’s 7:39PM and it’s no non-sense, come inside, it’s cold out. I find that I keep having to unshrug my shoulders and breathe deep into my belly (I also think of Ashley Neese saying, “Breathe into the back of your rib cage” — Life changing).
I’m drinking Prosecco and making amends with all the selves of myself that came through this year, pulling that chariot towards this finish line. I sat down in the sun this morning and looked out to see if an elusive river otter would float down the creek. I called Ivan and he called me back. I cleaned my house, got it ready for angels (just in case).
Earlier this week I read something about how spending 2.5 hours outside curbs depression, and today was a testament to that. Make sure you’re getting out there with the sun (or bundling up and braving it if it’s not), make sure to get the body breathing.
Rest well tonight,
Marielle
